Welcome to The Orchard

We built The Orchard because life can feel like too much—too fast, too loud, too everything.
Whether you’re neurodivergent yourself, supporting someone who is, or running a workplace that wants to do better, it can be hard to find reliable, human help.

Inside The Orchard you’ll find calm, practical tools you can use right away.
We focus on the everyday challenges that trip people up:

  • Freezing and overwhelm – when tasks feel impossible or you can’t get started.

  • Communication and masking – when connecting with others costs too much energy.

  • Sleep and focus – when your brain won’t switch off or stay on track.

Who We Are

We’re Mia Preston and Calum Moore—the founding gardeners of this space.
Mia is a specialist mentor with years of experience helping neurodivergent people build strategies that actually fit real life.
Calum is a communication coach, filmmaker and podcast director who knows how to turn complex ideas into stories that stick.
Together, we create videos, podcasts, and step-by-step guides that combine evidence-based strategies with a dose of honest, human insight.

What You’ll Find

The Orchard is a growing library of videos, podcasts, and resources designed for:

  • Individuals who want practical ways to feel in control of their lives.

  • Parents and supporters who need clear, trustworthy information.

  • Businesses and teams looking to create workplaces where neurodivergent people can thrive.

Content is organised and easy to navigate—no endless scrolling, no hidden jargon.
Pick the topics that matter to you: study, work, sleep, food, communication, self-image, relationships, and more.

The Difference It Makes

Spend time here and you’ll learn how to:

  • Identify your goals and break them into doable steps.

  • Build routines that reduce stress and conserve energy.

  • Communicate in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.

The result?
You feel in control of your life instead of the other way round.
Small, consistent actions turn into lasting growth—like fruit ripening quietly on a branch.
